SHU Racing are pleased to announce that Hague Fasteners are returning to partner again with SHU Racing for the 2021 season for a fourth year. Over previous years, Hague Fasteners have worked with the team to produce a wide variety of custom fasteners, including custom titanium wheel studs and specially produced engine bolts. The team cannot wait to use their bespoke products when we get out on track later this year!

Hague Fasteners are a manufacturer of threaded and milled special fasteners in a variety of materials as well as being experts in nut and bolt manufacturing. Since 1971, they have been a supplier of the difficult to find fasteners as well as producing one off to medium size batches of both custom designs and products from OEM drawings in difficult materials.

6 Hours of Norfolk Report

Over the weekend, our eSports team took part in the 6 Hours of Norfolk event. Snetterton proved a tricky track to master as our drivers had to quickly get up to speed with the newly released circuit. A highly technical track demanding precise driving and immense concentration to push the limits. SHU Racing #361 qualified for the top split in P9, with the #111 and #505 cars in race two in P9 and P26, respectively.

Good starts from all cars saw battles in the top 10 and gaining places quickly as the drivers settled in for the first hour of the race. SHU Racing #361 had a comfortable pace and was in good battles all the way up to P6. Unfortunately, in race two there were technical difficulties resulting in a game crash for #111 dropping them down the order and unlucky collisions for #505. There were mixed emotions throughout our drivers, but they did not give up and persevered on to the chequered flag. Final standings for the cars were P7, P26 and P27 for #361, #111 and #505 respectively. A bittersweet weekend for SHU Racing but are looking forward to getting behind the wheel again.
