Hague Fasteners are once again partnering with SHU Racing for the 2020 season and once again be providing the team with bespoke non-standard fasteners. This is now the third season which we have partnered with Hague Fasteners and over the last two seasons, Hague Fasteners have contributed an array of bespoke fasteners, most notably the titanium wheel studs and custom engine bolts. This year we are looking forward to working with Hague Fasteners during the 2020 season to further develop our designs and utilise their expertise in the manufacture of bespoke products.

"Hague Fasteners is a privately owned company which was conceived in 1971. We are manufacturers of all types of threaded and milled special fasteners in many different types of material, experts in Bolt & Nut manufacturing. We occupy a specific niche in the Fastener marketplace, manufacturing and supplying the more difficult to obtain fasteners, the items that are not readily available from general fastener stockists. We manufacture any item that you cannot buy off the shelf in small to medium batch quantities, from single prototypes through 5pcs, 10pcs, 25pcs, through to several hundreds where required, often in difficult materials and to Customers unique designs and OEM drawings.

Our considerable stocks of high integrity steel and Superalloy bars enable us to offer Standard, Modified Standard and Custom Designed Special Fasteners on a very short lead time, in hours where required.

With over 45 years of UK Bolt & Nut Manufacturing, Hague Fasteners have an enviable reputation as one of the most reliable manufacturers of Special Fasteners and Custom Bolts to Drawings and Unique Designs."

Returning for another season, Carbolite Gero, a leading manufacturer of furnaces and ovens for use at high temperatures, are once again partnering with SHU Racing as we move forward to Silverstone 2020.

Based in the village of Hope in the Peak district, Carbolite Gero produce ovens and furnaces for use in laboratories and industry for temperatures up to 1800°C, which is relatively warm compared with their 3000°C ovens manufactured in Southern Germany! With more than 80 years of experience, their products focus on vacuum and special atmosphere technology

"In addition to the wide range of standard products, CARBOLITE GERO is an expert in the development of customized equipment for complex heat treatment processes. Solving customers’ individual application requirements has given Carbolite Gero an important place in aerospace, engineering, materials science, medical, bioscience and contract testing laboratories globally to name a few."

Returning for a second year of sponsorship are another company from Hope, Retsch, a world leader in preparing and reducing laboratory based samples for over 100 years. You may wonder how laboratory equipment can help a racing team, however, Retsch will allow us to further develop some of our engineering capabilities as a team for the car.

Retsch produce an impressive variety of products including sieves and mills as well as products to assist with sample preparation, with solutions capable of processing materials down to 0.3 nm! SHU Racing hopes that this precision and consistency present in the Retsch products can be replicated amongst the team this year in both design and manufacture!

"RETSCH is the leading solution provider for neutral-to-analysis sample preparation and characterization of solids. Based on a century of experience RETSCH develops size reduction and sieving equipment which is characterized by excellent performance, operating convenience, safety and a long lifetime."

Once again, we would like to thank Hague Fasteners, Carbolite Gero and Retsch for their continued support for the 2020 season.
